This video is about the 5KW evance iskra R9000 micro wind turbine which I installed on my lands at Emyvale Co. Monaghan, Ireland in November 2009
The project was part funded by Sustainable Energy Ireland under the programme of Small and Micro Scale Generation Pilot Scheme. The wind turbine is connected to an inverter systems which allows the system to be connected to the electrical supply board. The system is now exporting power back into the network.

Hi Dan, This year from Janurary it has produced 4000Khrs(Units) of green energy. Last year was a poor wind year but great improvement this year so far,

I am very content with it! My elcetric bill has been in credit for a year now.

This generator is very quiet, indeed.Because of the design! I am going to present another video and down load it soon. I can tell you that the sound of wind is the only sound I can hear. If you were right up to the Turbine all you hear is a mild hum and it is mild, say the sound of your computer fan when your beside it. I try and video it but I think the wind itself is all we'll hear!

Great to see that the turbine is working well for you Joe as it is an excellent machine. ReGen(NI) have licenced Eco Evolution as resellers/installers of Evance wind turbines. Eco Evolution covers the counties of Wexford, Kilkenny, Carlow, Wicklow, Laois, Kildare, Offaly & Dublin.

@EazzyManIreland I can tell you now that its produced more electricity than I have used!! 4700units!! and this was a quiet year for wind and its realistic!! Could only tell you this having it installed and running for a year!!!

Dear / how is your wind turbine working? My own is working well It has produced 4700Kwh. Thats realistic and good for our area as I am only 88meters above sea level! Its cleared my electricity needs this year so far!!!! She runs very smoothly!

Great video. We have just installed the very first ISKRA wind turbine in Scandinavia. It runs beautifully.

I have the turbine installed now for near 2 months and it has generated just over 900 units so far. I should save on my bill annually but I'm interested in receiving cash back for export power to ESB annually too!! Yes there is maintainence cost, A service is done once a year 300-400 euro appox!

Need to check with Regen NI Ltd.
