So, here is a new video with Shilas and Flip, they are doing so amazing lately!
Shilas's rearing is progressing like a speed-car, yesterday I found out that he
rears higher when I ask him to suddenly rear in trot or galop... So proud of him,
he always reared kinda 'low' and now it is much better.

Flip does great as well, he looks so stunning with his coat and white mane and
tail. The rear-pirouette in the video was a little hard for him, because it was the first
time in weeks that I asked such a hard rear from him. That is why I sometimes had
to encourage him with my hand and the treat, you can see him trying to get it but nog
succeeding haha ;) No problem, it works!

If you have any questions that you would like to ask me, feel free to do so.
Thanks for watching!

  • When my shetty does a trick, he always just does it for 1 or 2 seconds. Then he want to have something to eat and my voice, saying "yippiiiee, gooood!!".

How can I make him doing the tricks like lay down longer ..?

    Please help x

  • Don't reward for the seconds, ask it longer and only reward when your shet does a trick longer. Don't make it to hard in the beginning, start with one second longer and then expend :)

  • your music choice everytime inspires me! i love your work!

  • Funny you're saying that, I had a hard time finding the right music! :) Thank you!

  • how do you teach them spanish walk? you get them to target the whip to lift their legs i can see that. My pony is taught to lift each leg when i tap it and he can do some tiny leg lifts in halt, but im not sure how to get him to continue it into walk. I taught another horse to eventually do it ridden but he seemed to have a natural flair and picked it up so easy we barely had to teach him. your horses are goregeous :D
