Thanks for the video, it really helped me.
I have Microsoft Mobile Memory Mouse 8000, i had the same issue and i did what you told me and it worked. However, there's a green light and its charged, it was working fine, but now the cursor in the screen doesn't respond or move at all... and yes the green light is still there and fine.
