Arranged Marriage: A Jemi Love Story S1 E6 'WARNING: STRONG WORDS'

Time to ruin my life. When I opened the door, it was only his parents.

Demi: Hi Mrs. Jonas.
Mrs. Jonas: Hello Demetria.
Demi: Um, come in. *Manages a smile*
Mrs. Jonas: Yes, of course. *She comes inside and hugs Diana and Selena. Then she sits down on the couch across from Diana. Selena and Demi take a seat on another couch, and Mrs. Jonas on another*
Demi: Um, isn't anyone else here?
Mrs. Jonas: *Laughs* Someone's a bit excited, huh? Well, Kevin's at work, Nick had homework, and Joe's out parking the car. [Pretend she's divorced]
Demi: Oh, um... Great.
Mrs. Jonas: Well, tell me about your hobbies. What do you like to do for fun?
Demi: *Smiles a bit* Well, I love to read. Especially love stories. I'm a sucker. And I also love taking walks, either around 11 or in the evening around 6:30. I also love to get on the computer, but with that huge pile of work from school, I haven't got the time at all. *Manages a chuckle*

With Joe.

Joe's POV
I had just parked the car, and was now leaning against the car. But, I was confused. Why the hell are we at Demi's house? I'm meeting the fucking girl here? Why couldn't we just go to the stupid girl's house? Fuck that. I walked in through the door and saw Demi and my mom laughing, Demi's mom was smiling, and Demi's sister had a straight face. Now, I wasn't ONLY confused, I was mad, too. The girl wasn't even here yet.

Demi's POV
Joe walked in and immediately my smile disappeared. Mrs. Jonas IS a nice lady. She CAN keep me in good shape with Joe. But, I don't know. I was a bit scared right now. Joe looked REALLY mad. And I was right. He spoke with anger and frustration in his words, as well as his facial expression.

Joe: Mom! Where the fuck is the girl?! And why the hell are we HERE?!

Oh my gosh, he doesnt' know hes getting married to me! I just looked down, aware of the storm that was just flying in.

Mrs. Jonas: Joseph, what are you talking about? She's right here! *She pointed at me with her palm*
Joe: *Looks at Demi* Who?! HER?!
Mrs. Jonas: Yes! Who did you think?!
Joe: FUCK NO! I'm NOT gonna marry this goddamn bitch! No DESPERATE guy would want to get married to this motherfucking worthless piece of shit!
Mrs. Jonas: *Furious* JOSEPH! THAT'S ENOUGH! *Grabs Demi's arm, and as she yells at Joe, Mrs. Jonas tugs on Demi's arm* THIS IS HAPPENING FOR A REASON! YOU DO NOT TALK TO HER LIKE THAT! Joseph, she is a wonderful girl and she will keep you in shape. You're gonna learn to love her. Just give it a chance. Just understand what we all are going through, right now! Please, joe, calm it down. Throw the anger away.

Demi's POV
'worthless piece of shit' echoed everywhere in my head. This time, I couldn't help but cry. Even for Joe, this was intolerable. I know Joe hates me, but I never expected it like this. The tears just wouldn't stop. And to make it worse, my mom was just watching in pain, and Selena was crying with me. [Since they were SOO close, Selena couldn't bear to see Demi in pain like that] Mrs. Jonas grabbed my arm and pulled me off the couch and yelled at Joe, tugging at my arm. I yanked it out of her grip.

Demi: *Yanks her arm away* Excuse me, please. *She runs up the stairs and slams the door to her room*

I just laid down on my bed, flat on my stomach, and cried my eyes out. That was painful. My mom's pained face, Selena's tears, Joe's horrid words, and my worthless, shitty tears. I couldn't stop at all. I felt like I've never been insulted in my whole life. But this this crossed the line. I couldn't take it. At all.
