The eleventh dungeon of Pikmin 2: Submerged Castle. ( Part 2 )

Talk about annoying dungeons. Not only you are only able to enter with only bleu Pikmin, when you hang around to much on the same floor, the boss will come after you. This dungeon was small though, only 5 floors. Also we found a nice amount of white and purple Pikmin here, and not to forget: Bulbmin.

Boss: Water Wraith
Boss note: Although easy when fighting it, it also comes out when you cant defeat it. It will follow you around and make it hard for you to collect treasures or defeat enemies. The only way to defeat it is to throw a purple Pikmin ( who you dont have until the end ) near him to stun him and than defeat him. Really weird boss..
Olimars journal: All that is known about this creature stems from a few sightings deep underground. All reported sightings feature the same core sets of details: a giant, vicious form with a clear, hazy sheen not unlike hard candy. One theory holds that it may be the ectoplasmic incarnation of a kind of physic phenomenon, but as is usually the case with such theories, it is very difficult to prove. All witnesses report being suddenly overcome with fear upon sighting the creature, approaching a state of panic and near insanity. In fact, every report contains an inordinate amount of extremely vague details, which has led to suspicions that exhaustion and fear have caused some simple natural phenomenon to be viewed as a living creature.


Note: Entering this dungeon with only bleus is no fun. Not that I dont like bleu Pikmin ( I actually even have more than all others ), but they really cant fight. Happily there were Bulbmin in here to, I used them for the white and purple Candypop flowers, but still ended up leaving them in the end.

This really kept me on the edge of my seat, lol. It was better than a horror movie.

That's what I did, I moved the President to a far corner of the dungeon away from the treasure and it followed him, and my pikmin were safely able to get the treasure to the ship. I switched to him every 30 seconds or so to keep the wraith targeted on him.
