Carrie Underwood - Jesus Take The Wheel - Ravinia 9-4-11

My Seat was O-22, LEFT side. Were you near me? LOL I saw Carrie at Chicago's Ravinia (Highland Park, IL.) for the 2nd time last night. I think she is at the top of the hill for female singers in ANY genre. This song is, "Jesus Take The Wheel." If you search my channel here, I have her doing this song, and two others from Ravinia on 8-31-09. I LOVE Carrie!! :-)

I was at this concert. I got to attend a Meet & Greet with Carrie before the concert! She is the sweetest person you'd ever want to meet and it's an experience I'll never forget. During this and "Temporary Home" I found myself tearing up. It says a lot about her that she can put on a show with just a microphone and no costume changes or props and get a standing ovation from a sold out crowd.

@lilstewie84 Oh, I would LOVE to do that. Just to get tickets was really hard, because they sell to the donors for a couple days first. Yeah, look at the recordings of mine of her here from 2009. She did more of the Diva thing, starting by coming up on a riser, and changing her dress a few times. To me, she doesn't need to do all that, and this time she didn't. I just want to see Carrie be herself.

@lilstewie84 How do you get a meet and greet? I want to buy one but I only know of getting them from joining her fan club. My dream before I die is to have one conversation with her. I am, not even joking, wearing the shirt I got from this concert. I love her so much! Even though I am a girl.... Lol. However you say BIGGEST FAN, is right here. Lol

@Davethreshold She could have easily just brisked by her fans and said hi on the way to the stage, but I really appreciated her taking the time to meet with each of us individually and have an actual conversation. I love her even more. My favorite diva entrance was from the Play On tour and she rose out of the floor posing on a sofa. It was so cool! Honestly, though, she could sing the Itsy Bitsy Spider song and it would be immaculate.

@lilstewie84 I agree with you completely. I think singers like Taylor should take lessons from Carrie. This concert proves what everybody has known about Carrie, she has got the best vocals out there, bar none.
