@irishchrisc know what else cuts down on splinters? manning up for a little while and letting your hands callous a little, also proper material handling helps. even with soft hands splinters are easily avoided by not running your hands along the wood like your shaking the your fist at the ex.
@jamesmarshallcole if you manually lift the sheet incorrectly as he did in the beginning of the video you could get some back issues. however properly lifting the sheet in a way that avoids bending down so far is not very difficult.
simply tilt the sheet up on one corner till you can reach about the half way point and let gravity level it out for you. less bending, less effort.
The Gorilla Gripper will grip & lift as many panels as you can sandwich within the two gripping plates. The standard 'Contractor' model of the Gorilla Gripper has a gripping range of 3/8" to 1-1/8". You can, for example, grip, lift & carry four 1/4" sheets of plywood at one time if you care to! Note: Two new models of the Gorilla Gripper have just recently been introduced: The Gorilla Gripper 'GP'...gripping range of zero to 3/4". The Gorilla 'Door' Gripper...gripping range of 1-1/4" to 2".
amazing invention. It works so simply.

@Brandoskey Callous' are no guarantee mate. I know. No matter how careful you are, you will always get a splinter. You will only cut down the chance.
