The Holy Bible was written unlike any other book made by man. Here are some facts about the Holy Bible from bible scholars:
All in all the Holy bible consist of 66 books, and is divided into the Old Testament - 39 books written from about 1350 B.C. to about 430 B.C., and the New Testament - 27 books written from about 45 A.D. to about 90 A.D.
These books was written by about 40 divinely inspired writers over a period of more than 1500 years.
The Bible as written by God's people from all walks of life, (kings, shepherd, fisherman, tent maker, tax collector, etc) with great differences in writing styles, in a span of more than 15 centuries, yet every book in the Bible is consistent in its message. It is impossible for human beings to have planned such an intricate combination of books in over 50 generations.
Most of the scriptures are manually written on weak materials like papyrus, yet many copies of the Old Testament scriptures survived. Manually written bible manuscripts have survived despite weather, persecution and time for about 3000 years. Please note that the printing press, a mechanical device, was invented in Germany by Johannes Gutenberg only in 1445 A.D.
The Holy Scriptures was given by inspiration of God as the writers were moved by the Holy Spirit when they wrote the words of God.
God Himself commanded what should be written by those who were instrumental in writing His words.
God Himself watch over those who wrote His words, so that what God wanted to be written will only be written.
God Himself commanded those who wrote His words when to close or stop writing.
God's word is truth because it has fulfillment. Rightfully so because God said, "I have spoken it I will also bring it to pass." Thus, the words of God differs from the words of man. Unlike man's words which are oftentimes proven false and go unfulfilled because man is capable of lying and that there are many things that is impossible for him to do.
However, the one true God can declare the end from the beginning, and from the ancient times the things that are not yet done. He will bring it to pass what He has spoken, and He will do what He has purposed. Because with God nothing is impossible, with God all things are possible.
The ultimate conclusion is that, "what is written in the Bible is true". Therefore, we are assured that the Bible we are using now is the true Holy Scriptures because this has the quality of the words of God. What is written will surely happen.
We have shown you the many mistakes of science. However, we can say without doubt or fear of contradiction that as science arrives at the ultimate truth, it will always be compatible with the Bible. Science only confirms what had long been established as absolute truth through biblical pronouncements made thousands of years ago. Hence, as far as the ultimate truth is concerned, the Bible is supreme and is second to none.

@sickJLSrecords God gives compensation for those who passed the rigid test. Job did not expect any reward, instead he took of his cloths are offered a worship of thanks regardless of his sufferings. God sees his true servant endurance of loyalty and rewarded him 10 folds of what he had lost.

@sickJLSrecords - being a member of the Church of Christ simply means you are obedient to Gods Laws... and Gods laws is not the hard. What is hard is being consistent. Having that said, we need Jesus to help us in that battle.
by the way, God did not take a gamble on Job... God knows Job very well... secondly Satan made the challenge because he is clueless of the outcome.

@onlytruegod He is a Jealous God with a death toll that Satan can't even hold a candle to. He likes to take bets at the expense of his own servants (Job), just to prove his point. The natural response to most of these cases, is that God usually provides compensation in the end. If God does exist, I don't think he would be cruel, and I don't think he would condemn anyone to eternal damnation for not being a member of the Church of Christ.

@onlytruegod So God never commanded Abraham to go to the land of Moriah to sacrifice his only son Isaac? I must have misread that part. I thought it said it was his son...but it must have been isaac, his only sheep or goat. Sorry, my mistake.

@sickJLSrecords - God asking to kill my own son is non-existent. since the time of Jesus, God speaks through prophets and refrained from speaking directly to his chosen ones. The Sacrifice of humans in NOT in God vocabulary. What the ancient people of God sacrificed were there best animals ie sheeps..
