I´ll fill you in with some info on da sax man. It´s my dear friend who unfortunately is no longer with us. Holger Laumann. A danish sax man with a great love for Trini and Calypso music. I used to live in Holgers house for 7 years and I was the keyboardplayer in Holger Laumann´s calypso band. Everytime he´d been to Trinidad to record, attend the Panorama og carnival he would play us the music and tell us about Boogsie, Albert Bush and his many other friends there.

Unfortunately I never got the chance to go to Trini with Holger, but I have felt the music through him. I play on several of his albums. You should check out his own calypso recordings, he was an outstanding sax player. Feel free to write me anytime.

Thanks for providing the background info on Holger, the track was from the cd he produced called Holger Laumann Splended Calypso & Pan and listed several top musicians from Trinidad on the cd, what may have been misleading on this cd was it credited all vocals by Felix Ceaser and lead vocals by Joe Tempo Ceaser. I stand corrected thanks to Panman1970 and narclem Felix Ceaser is credited for vocals on this track.
