The first part is from a Warner Brothers cartoon about "Owl Jolson" --an owl family, like The Jazz Singer's plot
The second part is from "The Singing Kid" starring Al Jolson and Cab Calloway is the other voice you hear. Larry Parks DID lip synch Jolson, although there was one video that showed Parks could sing too, though it was vital that Jolson do the singing for the film.
BTW, keep this video on the Q.T.--Youtube got rid of it because Warners Music is greedy and stingy about usage.

Glad it's back --but viewers--SHHHHH! Be careful about embedding or sending. Send only to friends. Last time, YouTube got cranky about the music.. Warner's has problems with psoting their music, etc.

Well, I just found this AGAIN, though on a PVC with no sound capabilities. I will see if I can HEAR it on another PC later on. Glad to see this back up! I LOVE Raspy!

I LOVE this video! I love the two songs, which is what I was searching, and got this beautiful, happy, joyous kitty as a bonus! I just watched the cartoon with Owl Jolson, then wanted to hear Al Jolson's original. The cat LOVES to swing! FAVORITE!
