oil gets burned for the electric and thats not green. More important things they don't mention is that these cars have batteries that are very bad for the environment. Also fuel efficient does not mean greener and it still uses fuel for the electric source. What ever happened to those water motors? Hydro motors do exist and have for many years but AFAIK Ford bought the technology and put it on the shelf.

You all miss the point. Cars spend far too much time idling in traffic idling. Idling is zero miles per gallon and among the worst polluting modes. Electric cars do not idle. This is invaluable.
