I would never had picked larkham at all. on one wing campese, occonor on the other, mortlock in the centere ..with??? burke at full back . eales AND rocky in the forwards, never thought we ever had good halves..so I suppose gregan but not too sure....., so that's half a good team.

You're taking the piss right? Genia might be superb for the Reds, but he's been decidedly average for the Wallabies. Gregan was a phenomenal halfback, and it was only the last 2-3 years of his career where the 'two-three steps' things came into his game.

Just my opinion, Matt Burke was better than both Beale and Latham and one of the best counter-attackers of his time. I'd put Burke at 15 and move Latham, or maybe Roff, to the wing over O'Connor.

Stirling wasn't there, but Joe Roff still was. Ah well, Eales is still awesome.

genia in front of gregan. his ability to get quick ball would have considerably served larkham better than gregan did. he always seemed to take 2-3 steps before passing and hence larkham got smashed and played most of his tests in bandages
