Operation HOPE is America's leading provider of economic tools and services to traditionally under-served communities helping individuals and families develop the skills needed to achieve financial stability.

The mission of Operation HOPE is to expand economic opportunity by fostering a sense of dignity through financial literacy and economic empowerment.

Operation HOPE improves the economic quality of life for individuals, families and communities through programs that create stakeholders: converting check cashing customers into banking customers, renters into homeowners, small business dreamers into small business owners, and minimum wage workers into living wage workers.

HOPE has helped over one and a half million people in over 250 U.S. cities and South Africa and has facilitated an investment of over one billion dollars into inner-city communities through the provision of:
Free adult and youth financial literacy programming
Foreclosure prevention services
First-time home buyer education and one on one counseling
Guidance and assistance to victims struck by disaster
Technical assistance to entrepreneurs and small business owners to help them achieve business success

Operation HOPE seeks to bridge the gap between the privileged and the poor, rallying hundreds of local, national and global partners behind the advancement of financial literacy, or what HOPE refers to as the first 'Silver Right' in the "Silver Rights Movement".

The Silver Rights Movement recognizes that the key to financial stability is not solely dependent on ones ability to make more money, but rather the ability to make better financial decisions.




Leveraging its partnerships with government agencies such as FEMA and the US Department of Homeland Security, Operation HOPE has expanded the Silver Rights Movement beyond education.

Today, Operation HOPE is the only financial emergency preparedness and recovery service in the country helping victims overcome natural disasters and other emergencies through financial guidance and emergency preparedness.
