I know it'd take more than the allowed 10 minute limit of YouTube to tribute all the hornsmen coming out of the Alpha Boys School. But you've shown Richard 'Dirty Harry Hall' @ 6:15 standing at right beside Tommy McCook and he wasn't credited. Mr. Hall has passed quite some years now and was a hot session man in the mid to late 1970s working with Burning Spear, and among many others. He was also a schoolmate of mine before he got into juvenile trouble and the police landed him in Alpha.

@ratscisum ... well well... I can assure you this wasn't at all intentional, I checked on the Alpha website which has a comprehensive listing of all the alpha boys hornsmen and Dirty Harry was not listed... and so hence why I didn't credit him... I'm sure I also too looked up the history behind Richard Hall, and could find nothing there saying he had learnt the horn when at alpha.... but hey... I'll keep your comment to the top.

On the first picture - at 0:25 - it`s Joe Harriott in the bottom line, first on the left. Though he was not a Reggaemusician, he`s maybe the greatest alpha Boy. He was a true Jazz-Inovator and Free-Jazz Pioneer! Check out he`s albums "Free Form" or "Indo-Jazz-Suite". Sadly he`s very underrated - if he had been american only...

@Tenor4Christ ... blessed thanks Mr Charli... likewise "we" love the Sax... but you are blessed to play such a beautiful instrument...
The Saxophone with the double bass is my favourite pairing... forgive the sentimentality... but to me it's like the perfect musical union of Man & Woman
