  • avoid incheon airport if you can. it's not exactly user friendly.

  • Oh, by the way, the first American soldiers to die in combat in Korea occurred in 1871.

  • They called it what? Who is "they"? The troops called it the "Unknown War" because they were told it was only a "police" action. Washington, through the press, dubbed it the "Forgotten War." It was the United State's 2nd War in Korea. We were supplying the arms to South Korea, so we were not prepared, not South Korea, they were begging for more weapons. US suffered 33,686 battle deaths, along with 2,830 non-battle US Forces worldwide deaths.

  • wtf saving private ryan omaha beach scenes is on vid lol

  • actually the korean war was the first war of the cold war. as tho part of it

the korean war however was in the backgrounds of ww2 and vietnam therefor the forgotten war.

  • @Seusswq i agree. respect to the soldiers who fought for the simple reason of defending a peaceful little country from those brainwashed fags from the north

  • to Seusswq: Truman was a coward. Communism would not have spread like a disease had he bombed north korea and china.

  • "During the Korean War the US 10th Corps, consisting of the 1st Marine Division and 7th (Army) Division landed at Inchon. Conceived of and commanded by US General Douglas MacArthur, this landing is considered by many military historians to have been a tactical jewel, one of the most brilliant amphibious maneuvers in history" That's America for you. :)

  • The 11day delay in taking Seoul largely negated the overwhelming victory at Inchon. My father was a Marine Tank commander in this battle. One of only 74 tanks to make the beach in the first wave.

  • Fucking North Koreans

Truman should have used some the US's atomic bombs to beat the shit out of Kim Il-sung. I salute all the UN soliders who fought for my country and especially those who couldn't make it back to their homes.
