Fred's method of stopping the rice from making a mess was pretty useless :)

@zacefronswife100 The show worked so well because the shows were based on actual events in their lives..Ricky was from Cuba, they were actually married ,etc...some of the other things happened ,but were stretched just a little bit to make them funnier.Desi Arnaz was given quite a bit of credit and money for I LOVE LUCY, for he was able to do a lot in Hollywood AFTER the show ended.He produced a lot of great shows ,but a lot are not shown today, but are available on DVD..
