Yeah, I know. It's not perfect or even close to for that matter. But the demos from the Blow Job album are so vital. I had to try :)
And it's really funny because those demos would later turn out to be the Goo album - the weakest album from SY in my opinion.

  • very good job

  • @aconseporlamuerte - Hi, and thanks a lot!

  • Good acoustic cover, it doesn't sound dry and especially in chorus. And i also like the way you sound like all the strings are involved from the start til the end of the sound. Well, what tuning did you use for this one?

  • @Hibernationmusic - Thanks a lot my friend. Warm words. Appreciated. I guess I really feel like I need to involve every string because the way I do my interpretations is to make every note sound like it has a place in the bigger picture, if you know what I mean? Also because I'm not 100% sure that what I'm doing, my way of tabbing these covers is accurate seen with SY-eyes. But it doesn't matter in the end. It's not an instruction video though.

    Tuning is: EGDGED

    Thanks again!

  • Wow, great job. I'm consistently amazed how well you can nail SY's sound with just a single acoustic guitar. This was the first SY song I remember really catching my attention and I've never been able to play it half this well

  • @SurfinNoodles - Thank you sir. Appreciated. This too was one of the first songs that really caught me. From there on the Goo demos became one of the best SY records I think.

I think the part thrash sound from the acoustic along with the tunings makes it sound pretty alright I guess. I find it kind of interesting. You get more familiar with the songstructure without all the noisy parts maybe. But thanks again!

  • @CanadianChronic2121 - Arh, good albums all of them. I can't really place a top 3 cause all got amazing potentiale. Still I find the 80's records most vital. Maybe the three you mention plus Bad Moon Rising and Confusion is Sex. Strong records they are.

  • 1. Sister

    2. Daydream Nation

    3. Evol

    =P

  • @68redneck67 - thank you as usual, appreciated :)

  • Least favourite as well, but it still kicks ass;) anyways great job you did with this song :D
