  • I think this is one of the best. I like the animation and for a short it contained alot of info. I don't think the reason they fought was the point, although I would guess it was his remark that women should not be samurai . The point was he knew he never stood a chance, he had already lost before they started because he loved her.

  • this should be a fucking series i would watch it o.o

  • this is like, Zorro Roronoa's childhood

  • :(

  • @Jorgiejustgrazing I would probably posit that the point is that the woman was of purer heart because at 5:02 , her blood faded into the snow, whereas the man's blood stained it.

That or a combination of the two: the best films are ones that make a person ponder.

  • awesome..........just awsome!

  • @bparker65 Yes she did.

  • @bparker65

    They watched too many Naruto.

  • If they were friends then why were they fighting? Did she slice him by accident?

  • Ichiro was fighting dishonorably. His blade was pointed down. This was only done in the endpoint of a stroke, not in a stance. Also, the swords are not katana, they were in between the length of a wakizashi and katana. Other than those minor problems with historical norms, it was very well made and true to how it was then.

  • why were they fighting it seemed pretty melodramatic to me
