  • LR LR LR, I always thought that was "look look look look!!"

  • Yes, it is.

  • Oh okay! I would have believed you if you corrected me and told me I was doing it wrong, though.

  • Sure, I am glad to give you feedback if I see something wrong or give some tips. I am glad to help.

  • Thanks... needed this.... so much!

  • These expressions you just showed are called emphases (plural) or emphasis (singular). The sta, soa or la-la expression give emphasis to the situation the person is talking about. Without emphasis, the situation is weak. Therefore, emphasis gives the intensity or force of expression to the story.

  • Again, wow. This is helpful/fascinating.

  • Toby,

Would you be able to tell me in English how to voice what you signed for SOA? Could I say, "Oh my gosh!" or "This is ridiculous!" ? I know you aren't an interpreter, but would highly value your opinion. Thank you.

  • thank you!

  • Yay! More please....like Oliver Twist, I am never satisfied. Lol. Seriously, thanks!
