Space Shuttle Challenger - Respectful Tribute

This tragic event happened on January 28th, 1986, killing the 7 astronauts on board. Ronald Reagan, president at the time, said, "We will never forget them, nor the last time we saw them this morning as they prepared for their journey and waved goodbye and slipped the surly bonds of earth to touch the face of God."

what a tragic event it makes me wonder if man ever belonged up in space

I think that man belongs in space. Why else would God give us such an ambition to do so?

All astronauts that are trained to go into space know that they are doing dangerous work. Nothing goes off without a hitch. Especially something as advanced as space travel. The bright side about this is that NASA doesn't just say "Its a freak accident. It will never happen again," No. They work hard to MAKE SURE it doesn't happen again.

Lets hope it doesn't.
