  • loooool

  • shoulda stopped it on the remote click.

  • @ZephyrMusicOfficial Yeah, I guess that's true. Well, even if I'm not partial to dubstep really, I can still respect it as a genre with a big place in modern electronic music. :)

  • Arrrghhh what a terrible song! kramer was good though....

Wish i could vote the video up while voting the soundtrack down :(

  • @iinspectra hmm, it's all down to opinion I guess, I just find mixing a dubstep track is hardest, controlling the balance between the distortion and bass. And yeah, but the fruityloops kids don't exactly do an amazing job, it's just because it's a popular genre right now that they go for it I think personally

  • @ZephyrMusicOfficial I humbly state my opinion that that's completely false - dubstep is one of the easiest genres of electronic music to create. A lot of people new to electronic music programs - FL and all that - turn to dubstep first. It's a lot simpler than it sounds; really, once you have a basic knowledge of beats and melody, there's not much else.

I'd say experimental IDM and trip-hop are the hardest sub genres of electronic music to create. Autechre, Amon Tobin and the like.

Took a listen to it. As I listened, I got the same vibe I get when playing a dark, epic (S)NES title (ahh...sweet nostalgia...), but then the wobble starts :/...

The underlying theme I very much liked, but my ear will never get used to the bass wobble in 'step. It may be an acquired taste, but not my cup of tea.

It's good that an artist brings out their creativity, but I have to say I do not agree with the genre.

Regardless, good luck with all that. :)

  • @Tounushi I honestly think that it's one of the hardest sub genres of electronic music to make though, to make it sound half decent anyway. Not spamming you but I do have a song I made today that's up for free download if you're interested, it's called 'Locust' on my channel (:

The majority of dubstep/brostep (can't really tell the difference between the two without it being pointed out) all sounds like an overuse of wobbling bass and overly loud base drops. I prefer techno and trance, myself. Dubstep is too harsh.

I do not deny there are good segments to dubstep, but the harsh parts simply ruin the entirety.

  • @Tounushi The majority of real dubstep is very melodic, it's just the American take on it to be as heavy as possible. A lot of people actually call it brostep not dubstep, because it's so far from what it originally was back in London.
