This is miles above her version of Light My Candle. Aaron sounds better here, too. Still, though, they won't ever compare to Adam Pascal and Rosario Dawson. Vanessa just isn't right for the role. Sure, she looks the part, but her vocals are weak. Aaron's voice leaves hers standing in the dust. I didn't personally attend any of her performances, but I have a friend that did, and she said Vanessa's acting was very stiff.

I honestly think the only reason she sounds good in this song is because it's a very easy song to sing. Out Tonight and Without You are shit. And let's not even get into Goodbye Love or Another Day.

My opinion? Vanessa is can only hit the lower notes of Mimi's parts. She has a decent voice, but perhaps was not the best choice for the part.
