  • The musical score is from Smokey Mountain's Children of Mother Earth. Smokey Mountain is a squatter area that emerged from Metro Manila's 20-hectare dumpsite. Today much of the garbage heap has been displaced by condominiums for the poor squatters of Tondo, Manila. Please check out Smokey Mountain to help these folks with livelihood and education programs that are based on e-learning and e-commerce concepts for micro-businesses and other small entrepreneurs.

  • Thanks for your comment. Just a slight correction. This version of "Paraiso" was recorded by the San Miguel Master Chorale from Ryan Cayabyab's "Great Original Pilipino Music" album.

Yes, I've been to the condos of Smokey Mountain. GK has taken over maintaining and managing some of those high rise buildings along with implementing the GK programs to it's beneficiary residents.
