  • You dont need over 300+rwkw to run 11's . Whoever told you that is incorrect . My car made 260 and has since run 11.80 @ 116.1mph with a Slingshot convertor in it . Car now has just over 200,000km on it now .

Mods are . FMIC , UAS Dumps into twin exhaust , Blitz Access ECU , Stage 1 shift kit + Slingshot convertor , Adj Cam gear , LSD , EBC .

Still running the stock BOV which many have said is letting me down and holding back @ high boost . Its my daily .

  • It ended up making 261rwkw after we found a boost leak on the dyno , explains why it runs 11.8 , but has since gone 116.1mph . I have since fitted a stall convertor but struggled with traction, running slower 60 footers but still ran 11.8 @ 116+mph .

  • the diff. ratio is 3.73:1 in soarer ?

what kind of intake you are running!!

  • Stock Engine, Stock intake, Stock throttle body .

The factory ratio in the TT is 4.09, so basically 4.1 ratio in the rear end . The V8 came out with the longer 3.7 you speak of .

  • lol.that was funny, the dude runnin n tellin the little mx5 yo bro its the v8's runnin get out the way!

  • Actually the Mx5 blew its diff . And were in the 4's , 6's and rotaries lanes . We dont get to run the v8's, lucky for them :D

  • Hard bro fully hard yeah

  • suck it hard more like you aussie fag

  • @xm4tr1x

I am not sure how you got 313 rwkw as a figure needed to get an 11 in a 1.6 T Soarer.

I got 12.4@113mph myself in a full weight Soarer on treaded street tyres. I dynoed 259RWKW on 17psi with the stock engine, turbos and Gearbox, I have a 1996 Soarer GTTL a bit heavier than this Soarer in the vid. If I stripped out some interior added another 1-2psi boost, and got some MT Drag Radials. With a good laucnch there is no reason why I couldn't of got close to the 11's minimum.

  • Dan you are the biggest inspiration to most Soarer owners. You are an awesome bloke with an awesome car, always willing to help out anyone with questions like myself.

I better beat your time with my 2JZ Swap in my Soarer.

Guys the people questioning his truthness with what his done with mods to get 11.8. I can back up Dan and say everything he states is fact and there is no other hidden secrets. Its all in the driver the right mods, knowing your car. And he knows how to launch.

  • @TTSoarer91 so what mods do you have to get 313rwkw because that is wats needed to push a 1.6T soarer down a 1/4mile @ 11.8sec?

  • YEH BRO.....FULLY GAY!

  • So extras that you have are cam gears I am guessing? Bigger tyers on the rear (Mine are 255x18), LSD.... Trying to think, anything else? Any suspension mods? I have adjustable coil overs front and rear.

  • Nice, I have stalled on my mods for a little while now. But I am at 16.5 psi on my stock ceramics and have been for almosst a year no issues. I am getting 233rwkw which is about 5 less than you were making, it made 580nm also on a Dyno Dynamics Dyno. (SOUTHERN HIGH TECH)

    MV stage 1 shift kit

    Twin 12" thermo fans

    Iridium plugs

    Pod filter

    Pod heat shield

    600x300x70 FMIC

Stainless 2.5" dump pipes into 3" race pipe splitting into twin 2.5" pipes with twin cannons on the rear.
