I'm American and Deaf, and it's so interesting to see how our Deaf cousins from across the pond communicate! Interesting fact: @ 1:37, the sign for "hearing" means "deaf" in ASL! Cool, huh?

Thank you so much for uploading this, I've recently decided to try and learn BSL whenever I can and this has really helped me because you're going at a good speed! =)

@1b2w3w A lot of people have the same wrong idea about BSL. But it wasn't invented to replace letters - it came about on its own, so it has it's own grammar, syntax, etc. This means that speaking BSL is very different from speaking ASL, just as speaking English is very different from speaking Spanish. BSL is not a replacement for English - it's a language in its own right, recognised bu the European Union (EU) as a minority language

Great job. It is nice from you that you make this video.
There is one thing which I don´t understand. I thought that people who speak the same language (English) will have the same Sign Language.
But there is ASL (American) and BSL (British).
It´s bad for me, because I want to learn Sign Language.
Fingerspelling is easier that ASL, but the other sign is different and I think It´s stupid. why is not universal Sign Language for everybody-for British, American, German, Japanese ....

BSL is sooooo different from ASL! i cant even understand the fingerspelling! wow!

Thank you very much for these videos. I like how you go through the signs nice and slowly. This method is much easier to learn from with confidence. I am a beginner and find that most people move their hands to fast for me to follow.
