check out sadie, she is an amazing belly dancer. you could work on your rhythm skils. your kips move great its just that they need more popp and rhythm to the drums. :) practice makes perfect.

MY defensive remark? hahah honey look at yourself, you wrote a paragraph of pointless banter. this just amuses me, quite honestly...
-
@iluvsims288 Oh and one last thing....seems like you only know how to dish it and can't take it based on your childish defensive remark. Wah-wah. Big cry baby LOLOL
-
@iluvsims288 You THINK?? Actually, you DON'T think. LOL. Your language and obvious immature and irrelevant "Nazi" comment shows just how much of neanderthal you are. Thank you so much for reminding me why I don't at all associate with brainless, no-talent and no-clue-whatsoever loser people like you. ;-) LMAO. Grow the hell up.

haha no actually i think where i'm coming from is that this girl wanted to post a fucking video of her having fun and didn't want people like you to be such nazis about it.
-
@iluvsims288 And for the record, the first time I went out, I DID do well because I was prepared BEFORE I did a show. This girl should NOT have posted this if it's her first time. So again, don't agree at all with you and NO it wasn't rude. It's constructive. It's pretty obvious that you either know nothing of belly dance or you're just as new to it, otherwise, you'd understand where we're coming from!

@iluvsims288 To add to what I said, if she's going to post a video like this and leave the comments section open, then she leaves herself wide open to have constructive criticism. PERIOD. No one's hating on her. It's actually trying to help her! Especially because we are trained professionals. She DOES need help with proper hand placement, movement and grace as well as overall delivery. The only thing that was ok were hip torso movements. So I can't agree with you. She needs to be told.
-
@iluvsims288 That IS constructive. I don't find anything harsh about her comment and I'm a trained belly dancer too so she's right. Very messy hands. One of the first things I teach my students is how to have proper hand placement and use them gracefully. She said she wasn't focused on the hands, but that's wrong. Hands are just as important in belly dance as the rest of the body.

for what you asked for, try getting the hips down strong and the arms, then slowly work on pairing them. once the coordination is there and feels more natural then it'll be easier to dance to the music. though by now you may have gotten it down better [or like me tend to be a bit hit-and-miss with practice]
coming from a trained bellydancers view point, she doesnt have it at all.
it just seems like shes trying to show off her body.
too tight, messy hands.
wasnt good at all.

@dr0pdeadmegan
that's really rude.
you may be a trained belly dancer, but she asked for some constructive criticism. i'm sure you weren't AMAZING the first time you attempted this. she's just trying it out for fun, and people aren't going to hate on her for not being a pro belly dancer. get off your high horse and be happy someone is trying to learn something and maybe try and help them. jesus.
