i think the darker Batman is better for the character, but i also love the Adam West series BECAUSE it was so cheesy and campy. i'm only 29, so i wasn't around when the series first aired, and got my first taste of it when i was a boy watching it in syndication, but i always loved the show, and the way each episode ended had me chomping at the bit for the next one.
i don't think all of us comic book fans hate Lorenzo. some of us more rational ones can appreciate a diff take on Bats.
