kk so after i do everythin on the computer
i run the connection testing on my xbox 360
it goes from my 360 to my network cable
BUT it fails when it trys to connect to the internet
HELP ASAP

i know how to do this but if i do it it will be an ip conflict between my laptop my dads laptyop my sister laptop noon will be able to connect to the internet

@QuonLoC973 They did. Its on the newer black xbox. Im sure the old white ones are discontinued.

did the first few steps where you ended up diabling and connected the internet with the local connection and mine is working fine THANK YOU so much been trying to find out how to do this for like a week.

i dont have the Sharing tab, only the network tab:S:S:S:S ????

"First go to Network Connections, where your Wireless router icons
appear. You should have a second icon, that appeared when you set up the
shared connection. I have renamed mine Xbox connection (or similar).
Simply select this icon, then right click it and Enable it. Once
Enabled, the Main Router Icon should now indicated that that it is
identifying the network. It should then show that is is shared.
Right click it (i.e. your main router Icon) and you should now see the
Sharing Tab." -Rich0325

@Danoishan I searched around and that's apparently a common problem. Here's one fix from Rich0325 on a Vistaheads website that might work for you
