Unless you were there before you probably wouldn't survive. No internet, no cell phones, most people didn't even have Cable T.v. Heck, regular t.v. even went off the air once it got really late until the next morning.

But for anyone who COULD get past all that, it was absolutely the best time to be alive.

Does anyone recall, on Andie and Blane first date, Blane said, in reference to whether or not they should hang with Andie's friends or Blane's friends, Blane said "we could go out with your friends, go crawl under a rock"....I thought the entire movie should have changed at that point, when she told him to do f himself...
