@ItzShelby1 it unknown to a lot of people too. like if i ask my white/black/rican etc. any nationality besides asian do they know who they are, they say no. and if i ask my asian friends, and i have a lot, they say yeah, who wouldn't? but there's a lot who don't know about them. they maybe extremely popular, but there not that popular that a lot of the people i know. . . don't know them. and i know a lot of people. so it's like yeah they are known by some but not by all.

dude pple i LOVE K-pop but it doesn't mean its popular in USA!!! just cuz some of us like or know them doesn't mean everyone else does..especially in USA. I would like K-pop to be recognized worldwide but it really isn't...YET.

ok people just because kpop is being known it doesn't give you the right to bash Western music. for all of you who have no idea how kpop began and just claim that you are kpop fans, kpop was bearly getting started I believe in the late 1980's and early 1990's. Seo Taiji & Boys were the first who brought kpop which was INFLUENCED by Western music. Just how there's crappy Western music there's crappy Kpop music.
