If our target is not to eliminate Al Qaeda, all we need is to help them closing borders. If we can't block them entering Afghanistan for a short while, we can't build up reliable local security structures for the local people. Religious can bomb terrorists as well. Just study some strategies so more open groups in their religious to express their own Jihad against terrorists for their children and the future generations. We can beat our own fanatics, so can they by just copying us.
