@MsJigsaw47 Okay, go watch the last 7 minutes of this episode. Debra tells her therapist she told Dexter she loves him. While she's talking to her therapist, Dexter is setting up his "ritual" at the chapel about to kill Travis. It's not logical that Debra shows up at the moment when Dexter kills Travis. It's makes no sense why she went to the chapel in the first place. Usually she calls Dexter or show up at his apartment. What gave her the idea to go the chapel? It just seems lazy and forced.

@jc2753 She went there to confess her feeling to him and she knew he would at the church so she went there i agree that its really weird to confess yr feelings at a church but Deb always acts without thinking , And the writers didnt throw anything at us actually this was done perfectly and i couldn't ask for more.

This ending makes no sense. Why did Debra coincidentally show up at the chapel? It seems like the writers wanted to throw in a twist at the end. At least in season 5, it was logical that Debra almost caught Dexter. This just makes me scratch my head in confusion. Ugh.
