Evelyn's character is meant to be over the top. In her mind she's playing a part. Hence, forgetting to keep up the accent. She thinks she needs to play the part to get laid.

thought the writing was a bit phony sounding, almost a bit to over the top, or forced. She needs to pull back a bit, seems like she's a theatre actor more than film. I thought it was good overall, but needs work.
