This was the first ever charcoal portrait that I ever created. It was also the first time I video taped myself drawing.

I made this for a family that is very close to me who lost thier daughter at way too young of an age. In fact no one should have to say they lost a son or daughter...it should be the other way around (parents passing on before their children)

It was the only thing I could really offer this family, and with their permission I have now uploaded it onto YouTube.

Even if you did not know Taylor you can still appreciate her smile. She was outstanding in everything that she did. A great athlete, tremendous student, a great daughter, and a person couldn't ask for a better friend. She had a smile that could take a gloomy room and turn it into something as magnificent as the sunrise on an early autumn day.

Having said that, this is my tribute to a wonderful person, Taylor.

    there are a ton of different papers, and experimentation is the key
