Motion gaming just got a whole lot crazier -- or it will, if Forcetek's Xio ever reaches the market. The gaming exoskeleton literally straps onto your arm and wrist like a prototype from Tony Stark's lab, then translates the motion of your arm directly into video games. Besides offering input much more complex that the simple swishing motions of a Wii controller, the Xio will eventually be able to mimic force -- like simulating the weight of a basketball in the hand -- to reinforce muscle memory and more closely simulate the motions from the screen.

  • @phreeck988 He may be talking about HMDs, which are far better than TVs in theory, but not in practice so far.

  • @AxMANxTV

What are goggles going to do besides get the screen closer to your face.

There is already head tracking hardware used in games that will move the screen based on your head movement but I have yet to see it combined with a mobile screen.

Also, if you want it to feel real why do you complain about technology that does this and say that you only want tech that makes it look real?

  • do any game producers every try using goggles to put you in the game I'm tired of looking at the tv I want the game to feel real not to wear some exoskeleton

  • hell I would buy it and play it even if I look like a NOOB!

  • lol the guy sitting at the wall is charging up his iphone...
