  • I am using this song to try and find my love lost 39 years ago. If he actually finds this announcement in the newspaper he will understand my heart. Thanks Johnny. You belong in the hall of fame and on every radio station known to man (and woman).

  • 1965?

  • I grew up to this dude on the radio. Some other great voices I admired also were. Tommy Hunt (Human) Chuck jackson (I Don't Wanna Cry) and Walter Jackson, Toussait McCall. If you like old R&B, these guys are on youtube. Treat yourself.

  • Bought this CD on Amazon. So many songs to reminisce.

He had such a range in that voice. He wasn't given the credit or air- time he deserved.

  • Johnny was Tom Jones main influence, it is so obvious when you hear this song.

  • this song is so beautiful

  • Bless Johnny Adams. these uniquely timeless contributions to the indomitable mosaic of human expression... Courage, compassion and loves immortal soul.

  • This is real Soul, this touched my Soul..

  • One of my top 5 singers of all time. Give him a great song like 'Reconsider Me', he would own it. Congratulations on your Grandpa Miss Sydnie. What a voice.

  • I saw this great man years ago with another local New Orleans artist names Snooks Eaglin at Rock and Bowl. It was a night I will never forget.

  • Back in the 60s, this song was covered by a white guy named Narvelle Phelts (or something like that), and no one heard Johnny Adams sing it. Fortunately, my best friend was a black guy who knew his popular music, and he gave me an education.
