This has become an annual event for the neighbors on 127th St, in Rockaway Beach, thanks to Mr Steve and Mr Rich.On Jan 1, 2008 we were greeted with air and water temp of 45 degrees.

Hey guys...I dont know how i miss this??!! -probably too much celebrating the night before!! I live & born in london but have a place & my family in Rockaway beach above 121st ST (beachside)...Im usually around for new years but didnt hear of this. I'll have to come out & watch u guys next time!! I know 1st hand what that sea is like so I take my hat off to you all!!! I love Rockaway beach...Ive been visiting Rockaway now for 19years & know the right people. Rockaway-ers are the best!!!!!
