@christl301 we won because russia beat the germans but the germans killed 20.000.000 russians in the prosess so it was more of a tragedy than a victory but saying that if the western alies had not opend up the second front the germans could have sent more resorces so thanks to old blitey holding out for two years the russians could do what they did .thankfully japan helped america into the war and the rest is history.
