Cadillac CTS: Interior and Exterior Lights

Designers put a lot of thought into every aspect of a car, inlcuding the lighting. With new technological advances and creative-thinking from the CTS design team, the 2008 Cadillac CTS has one of the most innovative lighting systems around. At a recent Cadillac Press Event, automotive journalists were given an inside look at the CTS' lighting system. Kevin Smith, Cadillac Communication Director, John Howell, Cadillac Product Director and John Manoogian, Lead Exterior Designer were on-hand to explain the importance of great lighting.

Just to let you know, Cadillac invented a lot of stuff like adaptive headlights or nightvision well before the germans or japs came up with it.

It's disappointing that car makers spend a lot of energy coming up with new exterior colors. However, now days, interiors can only be had in one of three colors, black, grey, or beige. It seems like car makers are working hard at not making offensive interior colors rather than being creative.

Whatever happened to deep red, navy blue, fern green, coca brown, etc.?

Car makers have pretty well nailed it with their exterior pallets, now how about focusing on the interior pallets?

This car is so freakin nice. Cadillac said they are trying to pair themselves to the younger educated, successful target market. I think they have done it!!! And done it very well!!!

@dunti21 well mercedes!!! had those LED lights audi had before Audi just incorporated them to the headlights.......I like Audis but they are so unreliable...my S4 broke down so many times!!!!

@dunti21 nope..all of audis displays have been already shown by mercedez and other brands ...shit they all came out with the same stuff about the same time.....I would take a cadillac CTS V in black however!

@VolGreg anything American is always criticized m8...Its jealousy around the world, alot of stereotypes I heard in Australia I found out not to be true when I moved to the states... Americans have a self hating problem though..they always think what they do is wrong, so it furthers all the haters
