thats when i saw it. the tears kept coming. i didnt mean for them to. but they did. the werent an ocean, a lake, a pond, a puddle, or a river. they were waterfalls. i was crying waterfalls. each tear burning down my face, some dripping into my mouth, mixing saliva with salt. it was niagra falls, running rapidly down my face. a never ending flow. never ending water fall. tons and tons of water, never stopping, never slowing down.. they just keep coming. coming and coming. my heart ached, ached of pain. pain of love. my chest burned, burned because of my heart. the burning felt good, like ive always waited for this pain to come. like ive been waiting to feel this for someone. this someone who knew me well.
'The One And My Only' glistened in the light.
i was the one and his only.
the tears kept coming and nick pulled me closer. the tears stained his shirt, my mascara mixed in with the tears. he didnt care. it was just a shirt.
"really nick? you mean that?"
"yes. i do. you ARE the one. you ARE my only. and i love you. so, so much."
he held on tighter and i felt something hit my head. tears. nicks tears.
i could tell he was thinking. he had that look on his face. that adorable face.
"baby. will you marry me???"
