Plot:

Basicly Hermione feels an attraction towards Draco and vice versa. She doesn't know if Draco can be loyal to her and she's scared to trust him.

If you want the full story read this:

It starts out with a little flirt between Hermione and Dray. Draco is charmed by Hermione's cleverness and secretly he always had a crush on her. In class he wants her attention and he succeeds in getting it (the paper dove). When Lucius, Draco's father, tells Draco to stop staring at a mudblood, he punches him. Hermione watched the whole thing happen and later in the bathroom she starts to cry, realising she and Dray could never be. They're too different and Draco's father isn't a big plus to a relationship that could be. Draco has allready fallen for Hermione and tells his Slytherin friends about his father's mudblood hate. *ofcourse they hate mudbloods too,they're afterall Slytherins,* but they advise him to follow his heart. They're too scared to give their leader an advice he wouldn't like to hear.
The next day, outside by the tree, Draco tries to apologize to Hermione for what his father said about her. Hermione listens to him for a while, but then walks away. She's affraid he turns out to be just like his father and that he only tells her what she wants to hear. Ofcourse she had to look over her shoulder once, because she can't help herself from looking at Draco's handsomeness :P
Draco is angry, he really dislikes the whole situation. He wants to talk to her. So he decides to take a second chance during lunch in the great hall. Hermione is surprised by his determenation to talk to her. (She realises he really must be sorry about his father and truly like her.)
Draco once more apologizes for his father and tells the trio about the yuleball (later that night). He also tells Hermione that he can't wait to see her at the dance and asks her if she will be his date for the evening. Hermione answers with a flirty maybe. Harry and Ron are totally surprised. They didn't know about Hermione and Draco, and they've never seen Hermione act like this.
As Hermione is preparing herself for the ball she starts to think that Draco is only trying to make a fool out of her. He probably won't show up or something like that. She wants to have a good time so she decides to go, with or without a date. In the meantime Draco is on his way to the great hall. *He pushes some students out of his way, in a way only he can do!*
As Hermione is heading for the great hall, she hears her name. She turns around and is surprised, but relieved and happy, to see Draco standing there all dressed up and showing his moves. The two have a great time at the dance. They dance together and at that moment Hermione finally falls in love with Dray, knowing he can be trusted.

Amazing! Deep down everyone knows that Draco is a sweetheart, he's being forced to kill and torcher by voldemort or voldemort will torcher & kill him. So he's afraid and trying to impress his own parents and voldemort. I -3 him so much for being so brave and so scared @ the same time.
