On May 25, 2009, my friends and I got tickets to watch the last taping of "The Hills After Show" in Toronto featuring Lauren Conrad.

Going into the show, we didn't know what to expect. Yet, we still had our expectations crushed by the end of the night.

Here are some of the reasons why:
- LC didn't pose for any pictures or sign any autographs
- During commercial breaks, she just sat there chatting with Jessie and Dan. We thought there would be at least some audience interaction.
- She had 2 bodyguards guarding the front of the stage during those commercial breaks.
- At the end of the show, she posed for 2 pics with Jessie and Dan, only facing the front and back of the room and not the sides. Then she left abruptly.

Overall, my friends and I still had a great time since it was a new experience. It just sucked how Lauren or the MTV crew didn't make time for the audience.

Some of the prizes given away were:
- a martini set to a person that sat in the VIP section (floor level)
- a poster signed by Lauren to a person that sat in the VIP section
- "The Hills" posters to selected audience members
- 8 "The After Show" t-shirts to selected audience members
- "Ice Breaker" gum to all audience members
- "Venus Razors" to some audience members

ok i don't get what you expected. your seats were so far away; you should be grateful you got a chance to go... some people don't even live in Canada.

Anyway, lauren is amazing, she is so awesome!

We just expected her to pose for a few seconds so people could take photos of her. Not for her to sit in her seat all night and just chat to the hosts.

Not being funny but she came to be on the Aftershow not to pose and sign with fans. If she had, the event would be a pose/signing one, not a sit down and talk about the show after it had aired...

i really like her, but she does come off a little fake at times,...almost as if shes not sincere.
