this makes me wanna cry. i love the o's we just can never seen to win ): but they will always be my team win or lose for life because i go by the line of "root root root for the home team"

It's never been the same since Ripken retired. The novelty of Camden Yards began to wore off and the playoff years of '96-97 were becoming a distant memory. Then when Washington moved back, even though they are actually WORSE than the Orioles, it eliminated half of the O's fanbase. I probably only watched about 20% of all O's games last year, compared with 75% in the '90s.
