  • I hate these types of tip ups, and I've never even used one, there are these tip ups around my area where you put your rod in, and attach a clip to your line so that when a fish pulls the flag comes up. I'd rather fight a fish in with a rod rather then pull it up, it isn't considered fishing if your just pulling up a fish with a string

  • i live in VT Barnard and im am going to start ice fishing and want to no how you go about placing your wholes on the lake i bass fishing the rest of the year A LOT i no what im going when theres no ice. can you help me out i dont no were to begin to even to start look for fish or anything please help.

  • @dirt1042 in the beginning of the video he said that in real life they would be 20 yds apart. this was just a scale demonstration

  • his tip ups are too close together. They would get all tangled up.

  • thats odd because the state record is 35.2 pounds. tell another lie

  • JUST USE A CUBAN REEL

  • Yo louie119. Fish cant here you run on the ice man. People just think that because of days they dont bit hard. I go fishing all the time and have fishing one 4 inches of ice on lakes that are real far from town in 3 or 4 feet of water whith snowmobiles ripping around and everything we always get fish

  • the thing about a gradual fight is right, my friends and I just caught a 46 in sturgeon through the ice and man did that thing take forever to get to the surface.

  • Everybody has their own ways to do it, and until you have 100% proficiency 100% of the times you go out, what I do I may think is what is better than what you do, and vice versa.

  • couple problems, dont run to the tip up, many times the fish will hear you running compared to just walking especially fishing shallow water. second look in the hole to see if the fish is taking line, if the fish isnt taking line wait and watch for a min if the fish is running he has the bait in his mouth. if not running the fish might have dropped it but might come back.
