The first album (yeah, I listened to albums then) was great but the second album suffered from an overbearing producer. That's the sad part of success. They weren't as raw. I saw them open for the Ramones in 78. Cherie was gone but the band didn't miss a lick with Joan on vocals. They blew the Ramones away.

If people thought Joan was the weak link in the group why did she get so much success solo with her own band?
