Higgins made snooker so great to watch, that people who had previously had no interest in snooker came to watch, I'm pretty certain that if the Hurricane did not exist in the game, Snooker would not have had the coverage on television that it has now, I don't think the WBSA gave him geniune credit for what he done for the game, Instead they punished him at every opportunity, I know sometimes he deserved it, but sometimes the punishment did not merit the crime. R.I.P Alex, you were the best.

Alex was the best and most enjoyable player ever to play the game. A real jack the lad down the club for a few frames, fags and beers. Thats what you wanna see in snooker. the modern game is pants.boring boring fuckers Hendry, williams, Maguire. Davis was probably the worst. A robotic Boring stone wall faced genius at the game but with no style or entertainment at all.1:22. Davis even chalks his cue at the end of the game in what i can only say would be disbelief and shock . Love it!

I dislike negative comments about Steve, he WAS more consisdent than Alex, tho not nearly as interesting to watch.
