Guitarist and singer/songwriter Derek Miller (Mohawk) will be performing in concert on Friday, July 2 at 5 p.m. at the Smithsonians National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, DC. Miller will play a mix of blues and rock including many songs by musicians featured in the upcoming exhibition Up Where We Belong: Native Musicians in Popular Culture such as Link Wray, Jesse Ed Davis, Peter LaFarge, Jimi Hendrix, Redbone, Robbie Robertson and Buffy Sainte-Marie.

The exhibition runs July 1, 2010 through January 2, 2011.
