We have a part two coming this next week. I can't give a date on part three yet.
After STDs, we will cover Birth Control... Barrier and Hormonal...

If you guys like this series, send it to friends, get it out there. If it doesn't get many views, I won't stick with it as much... so it's up to you on how much I delve into these issues.

Much love as always!!

  • I hope you would take into consideration this comment.. I totally agree with the title.. STI's are not covered and are highly more common that STD's. I believe you should rephrase this or at least add as alot of the population now are referring to these "Infections" as diseases which is medically wrong. Thanks

  • @DJBeasley22 While the CDC still refers to them as STDs at their conferences, so will I. I'll change when they change on that issue.

  • i think i had my hepatitis shots when i was 9

  • @musicgirl999 There are only immunizations against Hepatitis A and B. It's Hepatitis C that's deadly and we have no immunization against so far. It's also the one that is an STD where as the A and B are not.

  • question urm how do you get a STD test done? i would be bnervous to talk to my doc

  • @XOXSophiiaaXOX Doctors are THERE to do that sort of thing! They don't find it strange to be asked and they don't think poorly of you. In fact I think there is a level of respect when they see that you're being responsible.

If you're THAT embarrassed, then I honestly think you shouldn't be having sex.

DO keep in mind that there ARE at home HIV tests these days. So all in all there is no excuse not to test for at least that!!!

  • my goodness, it doesn't take a genius to figure this out. if a condom can prevent you from stds or getting someone pregnant, what is the big deal about wearing one. it doesn't hinder sex that much, where its worth risking gettring stds or getting somone pregnant

  • How are we(men and women)supposed to know if we have std's or not if we don't have check-ups?

Also I thought AIDS doesn't kill you.I learned all it does is lower your body's "defense"system which will allow other infections to get inside your body and kill you.(tell me if I'm wrong about that please)

  • Thank you for all your videos i'm only 17 and my parents never discussed anything about sex with me so i learned a lot from your videos.

  • Get tested folks! Symptoms often do not show, so you may have an STD. You can get tested anonymously. Just google 'STD Express'. There are many test centers nationally. I am not affiliated with them, but have done research as far as which places are best to get tested at.

  • The problem is teenagers live in the moment, they don't think about the future. Unfortunately the past always comes back to hunt them.

  • thats cool sex infection sounds less brutal.but yeah it's good to be safe.

  • @jowsiff Some have begun to call them STI's, but I will not adopt the new phrase as I feel it conveys a less important connotation. Additionally, the CDC doesn't seem to have adopted it either as their last conference was still their bi-annual conference on STD'S! So I'm not alone.

Infection suggests curability (and some are). I don't want to give the impression that they are all though. Many you are stuck with for LIFE!

And AIDS is a disease for sure.
