@DIGItalColourMedia Lying again? when did I lie before? He/they, sorry I'm not an avid follower, but was looking forward to seeing HIM play as I haven't seen him before. However it wasn't him. I know he has a history of being unpredictable to the extent many organisers won't book him as they are too prudish of what he might do, but he doesn't have a history of being boring.

IT WASN'T APHEX TWIN, i worked at the event, and they didn't show up, it was a dj playing an aphex style set, thats why they never cam out on stage, and it never quite seemed to pick up.... sorry to disappoint, i was vexed

played some sick tunes - rig was waaaay too quiet - i was right at the front and there was just loads of people mouthing off that it couldnt be him and generally spoiling the vibe - i was actually ready to punch someone. and the whole stand-in thing is a load of bull i reckon - a bunch of fellers in day-glo nappies gurning - nuff said really. and the mysterious stand in even looked identical to twin (check the coachella interview with him on youtube - with shortish hair)

i was there as well and was very disappointed.
was talking to a mate afterwards who was working doing rigging at bestival and according to him IT WASN'T APHEX TWIN. He didn't show up so they put a dj on instead to play a similar style set.
It wouldn't surprise me at all- i thought the set was rubbish (but good for a stand in DJ i guess haha)

Why would he have a mic? Listen, I've ssen Aphex Twin before so don't bother trying to preach, I know exactly what he's like - by proper set I meant playing his own stuff as opposed to DJing.

i was there; infact, im literally right next to the people who took this vid and to any Aphex twin Fan i have got to say that it was a total disappointment. and to DDUJMA below, THERE WAS NO BASS (the speaker broke)

Yeah I have to say that I was expecting a lot more from him, seeing as he was pretty much touted as a headline act by bestival... I mean he was not bad by any means, I just left a tad dissapointed.
