The first annual Denver Veg Fest was a smashing success! All the food/products were 100% Vegan :)
We were excited to be a part of it and are still riding the high of being with over 1600 people sharing good food and good fun. Dan Hanley led a team of dedicated volunteers to create the first of a new tradition Denver can be proud of.
A special thanks to Rocky Mountain Animal Defense (RMAD.org) and Watercourse Foods (WatercourseFoods.com) for being lead sponsors of the event. And to volunteer Oyster Ziskin and ZeroHeroEvents.com for making it a zero waste event.
This was an event that pulled together the social justice movements -- for the people, for the planet and for the animals. It was so inspiring to meet everyone. We can't wait to see you and several thousand more good people next year!
